SUNDAY!....Yes, Sun-Day is what today. As you may get it as the day when most of the offices are closed, the school going kids stay home enjoying the day their own ways. Some families would already have their plans for outings, kith visits and so on. But it is no more a different day for me. After all, what is different in this day? The sun rises( in the east as we leant from school) disappearing the darkness. This is what I see every morning lying on the bed from my window. Same spectrum, sparrows, joggers...It has nothing discreminant than rest of the days. Sometimes I feel in the dawn that all whatever is going to happen is an illusion, it's all fake as everything I see in dreams also. This twilight, this horizon is nothing but all a drama in my dream. Then the bile in my belly gets churns as if someone has set blaze waking me up agitated as a fisherman in a storm with his only torned jib boat. He knows the city is not too far to reach but if he jumps out to reach there floating, he would lose all the fish he has collected and if he stays in waiting for the serenity, he would lose a day and it would almost be impossible to sail during night.
Hence, accepting all those systems as true, the nimbleness to get water for quenching the blaze awakes me. I know that I can calm it each day but whether would there be any day when this agitation ends up, leaving behind no more disturbance in the abdomen? I think if I can make this ephemeral serenity, there would surely be one day when I would not have any free fuel left to get ablaze and everything would be converted into diamonds. Who knows even if I don't get those diamonds, there would be some gold under that heap of coal quite enough for me to sell and get the tranquiliser for my ever burning desires!
When you feel you are in the middle of nowhere..That is the sign that destiny is nigh. So never give up and walk some more..That is only the way ahead, lies there the horizon, waiting for you.!

Demonstrating Jalandhar by Demons
HONK, HONK…..HONK…..!!
“Dunno what haapened…, though lights are working well but still traffic jam!!”“I see some more cops than usual there at the pavement…”
Once standing at one of the crossing in my city, I heard these conversations and soon:
“Jalandhar’s voice against terrorism…
Attwaad de khilaaf saare jaane awaaz uthao...
Jalandhar ki awaaz, Aatankwaad ke khilaf…!”
Well these were the slogan being chanted on one of the rally accompanied by some city’s renowned leader and some well known businessmen. What I saw was about 200-300 student wielding some banners depicted: “Aatankwaad hatao, Bharat khushaal banao”. I don’t think there is any need to mention the subject for the rally. It’s blatant from the shibboleths: To fight against terrorism and condole the victims of 26/11, Mumbai. After dilatation of about 1 hour in my schedule I finally get back to my place. The rally startled me and I was somewhat glad that people in my city are aware about the country’s peace. Probably because this was the first ever such rally I saw in the city.
Five months later, t
he news ‘Curfew in Jalandhar over attack of religious leader in Vienna’. This news stunned me like those of 9/11 and 26/11. Media was informing about the situation of the city. Two trains were burned, one ATM was set fire, Roads were jammed by PROTESTORS, Cars parked in front of the restaurants and hotels were conflagrated. Such was the loss as a result of the riots. Nobody was there to stop the riots and the mob was simply doing whatever they wanted.
Now if we look at the Mumbai attack and the Jalandhar Protest, can we differentiate these two?
Perhaps on the basis of nationality of assaulters, number of assaulters and may be the arms used. The terror arose in Jalandhar was no less than that in Mumbai. At both places, people feared coming out of the houses, faced inconvenience in traveling, complete city was closed. But even though we blame that terrorists are snatching our peace and harmony. Another question in my mind, ‘Was this the reason, the rally five months ago was marched for? Is this all people were cognized for by various political leaders throughout the country?’ Hats off to the so called Protestors! One person is attacked overseas, and the followers start protesting in other country and that too not in front of mere peasants at 18 o’clock. I ask, ‘Which government would hear you at that time of the day?” And what such PROTESTORS want to show? Perhaps not more than the only adage they know, “Union is Strength”. But only few in this world know that using your strength on impeccable peasants only shows your cowardliness that even though you are
myriads of people but still couldn’t convince anyone keeping yourself serene. Burning trains and ATMs and creating mobs over roads is not the way to protest against something. And yes, ravaging car showrooms and pillaging vehicles for your personal use is not what someone call a protest. Inculcating a child of mere 9-10 years to participate in the mob and embroiling your older ones in the house to sit at the center of roads is not the answer to the question.
On one side, we Indians want peace, we mourn about the loss in the wars may it be of 1961, 1965, 1971 or Kargil. And on the other, few of such Indian PROTESTORS ‘fight for peace’. I agree that they sternly believe in unity but someone please let them know also that Charity begins at home. Assailing our own faultless countrymen only persuade other attackers, make them more confident and us more vulnerable. I don’t think billows of fumes out of the burning trains had smothered the attackers in Vienna, nor did the barricades used to impede mob in Jalandhar hindered them in fled away. Did they? Why such agitation here then? If the militants in Mumbai were shot at to death and seized, won’t the Vienna attackers be?
The need of the hour is not rallying on the roads against the terrorism but it demands mutual understanding among each other within the country, stern reasoning and awareness about your and more importantly about others’. Being free doesn’t mean to do whatever, whenever you want but doing something that not only is according to your will, gives you pleasure but also doesn’t exasperate or vex others. Let’s we all take care or each other and the country would take care of everything pertaining to us be it our religion, religious leaders or Victoria Terminal.
Live and Let others live to keep all of all of us unite .

Slumdog Millionaire: What's in the Slum+Dog?
I was just stumbling various sites and just tripped to a forum. The discussion there just stunned me. The discussion was going around the famous Academy winner 'Slumdog Millionaire'. We all know that there are so many controversies arose behind the name of the movie as "Slumdog Millionaire". Even the heat reached upto Danny Boyle also. One of the question raised about the movie is that the movie should have been names as 'Slumkid Millionaire'. Reason: 'Slumdog Millionaire' is sarcastic pricking all the slum people. But I don't see any personal slander in the name of the movie. Moreover it would hardly have removed a bukcet from the ocean had the movie named as "Slumkid Millionaire".
As per Boyle, the 'Slumdog' was named after the word 'Underdog' and we all well know the meaning as "Unsuccessfull". Since the protagonist hails from the Slums of Mumbai so the suffix 'under' was changed to 'Slum' and hence 'Slumdog'. It has nothing to do with canines and consider it calling would be utter absurd.
Moreover, don't we have movies from bollywood and that too of our famous Stars depicting the Indian slums? Bollywood hardly face any controversy over a movie shooted in the slums. The hero's childhood of maximum movies of late 70s or early 80s depicts his pauperism and then his heydays. The same has been shown in the 'Slumdog Millionaire' with the only difference in the directing team. So, no matters it's a 'Slumdog Millionaire' depicting Mumbai Slums or 'Muqaddar ka Sikandar' depicting impoverishment . The harsh reality would be there. The fault is not with the names but with our mind sets which assimilate the essence the other way around.
Also, the ideas that have brought the movie aloft all out of the contemporary film stack is just amazing. Many people critisize the movie name 'Slumdog..'.I agree that people just add words 'Slum + dog' but this opinion wouldn't have raised the popularity for the film. We all well know that for everything in this world different people have different views. But it is the tipping point of the opinions which adds success. If we go through the main idea of the film, it's not about one being born in Slums, working as a tea boy and being a millionaire. But, it's is all about the destiny and the foremost that how we grasp knowledge from various happening and occurences taking place diurnally around us in our ambience. It was 'Jamal Khan' who noticed 'Sameul Colt' from the dialogues of his brother and not the Police Inspector who had used a revolver for his long stint.
So, again, people should learn from the movie that being a Slumdog( Jamal Khan) is not as bad as being a billionaire( role acted by Anil Kapoor or the producer of the show) to conduct a game show without knowing that the questions they are going to ask in their game are as familiar to the contestant as 'Taj Mahal' to an Indian. All those who take the name of the movie as defaming, try to look at the things, the way they are made to be and not the way you see them.

Sojourn at DAVIET
Some are dumb, some are Geek.
All those cronies,from various Colonies.
I'll never find their clones,
But Life will goes on, Life will goes on....
Thinking of that Metro, from Janakpuri to CP
That moving ESCALATOR and v the culprits,
'Let's stop it' was our craze
The scurried passengers were full of rage
Those comical Apologies n acting of a sage
Now heart is weeping,Eyes are drown
But Life will go on, Life will go on....
Those hangouts to 'MAME DA DHABA'
Those 'Romanov' shots with Yellow DAAL
Khanna's Lemon and Chache de naan
Deena Nath's Kulche, 'RAUH's Gilaas'
All these memorials i always adorn,
And Life will go on, Life will go on....
The jaunts to Model town.
Those inspirations fromm accomplice...
Looking a girl wherever 'Oye karde propose' either NOW OR NEVER
All those moments will retain forever
Sometimes all these moments cause mourn.
But Life will go on, Life will go on....
Now we all suffer Segregation,
Some are in or out of the nation,
Everytime we think for Reunification
Your Remembrance from heart havn't gone..
But Life will goes on, Life will goes on....

It still feels like, we all are together.
