As of now, many of us have seen the most awaited movie of the year 2009: '3- Idiots'. And certainly as with other movies of Aamir, we all liked this movie. But this time, the movie has broken all the records of Bollywood movies mustering the highest ever revenue of Rs.2400 bn. in just a span of first 10 days since its release. Our famous 'Aamir Khan' would be more 'Aamir' and his parents would be more than happy with the success of their reluctant and out-of-the-box thinking son. Being the only actor in whole of Bombay's film industry to be specific about his work scripts and release dates of the movie he works in, Aamir stands aloft among the top actors of contemporary Indian Cinema.
Since December 25, 2007 when stars were first seen on the ground with the release of 'Taare Zameen Par', through the wonderful journey of Hira Nandani, avenging Kalpana's murder in Ghazini, Aamir has once again proved himself as the best of all the Idiots being printed on celluloid.
If given a thought, what makes his movies extravagantly famous? He works in the same industry in which other actors work. 3-idiot is the third film of Rajkumar Hirani after Munna Bhai sequals. But what is different in the acting of Aamir that attracts the multitude of Indian cinema lovers to make the movie a big hit?
The answer to the above questions is quite simple:
"Working according to your inner interests, chase Excellence and Success will follow"
It was the main theme of ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and this time as well the gist of the story-line is same, working on that only gives Aamir this much success. But to be somewhat specific, chasing excellence doesn't means that you ask a person (with innate photography skills) to be an engineer from premier institute of the country. This will only hamper the growth within the person and make him bereft of even his own innate skills. Chasing excellence means the pursuit of your interests, avocations and bailiwick, no matter how less their recognition in this world is. Also, once you start working on the things you are interested in, your journey will not only gives you happiness and bliss but your excellence in that field will make it known to others marking you as 'Successful' both in your as well as others' ways. Your pursuit will become the real 'Pursuit of Happiness'. Once you will reach at your own goals with this excellence, you will realize the real benefits of thinking and working differently out of the crab culture as per your own inner choices and your will hear your heart saying 'ALL IS WELL'. For a crab in a well, the sky is only of the size of the cross section of the well. But once it comes out of the well, it realized the real unfathomable vast firmament.
So the need of the hour is to get yourself out of the WELL, staying away from the crab culture and be the AAMIR among your own IDIOTS not only three but many of your whole world.
And once you are excellent.....TO BOLO ALL IS WELL.. :-)
Though we all know about the fact of being successful, many of us in this world still follow. They have one or the other excuse, "Mujhe bhi uske jaisa ban na hai","Mujhe paise kamaane hain", "Abba nahin maaneinge", "Mujhe maa-babu ji ki sewa karni hai", "I need to do this because, I have to" and many more... Many of these are valid even, depending on person to person and their situation and not always this funda of being cool and doing by your own heart goes well. People may call them (who own these excuses) as loosers, but in real they aren't. They might not be doing what their heart wanted, but doing something for someone else also gives you such immense pleasure which easily covers up the guilt of compromising with own heart..Still I agree with you my dear bholle and with 'Aamir' (If he's like this in real life also), that we should never give up whole of ourselves for lame excuses.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that I liked the most, in 3-idiots, is 'dil idiot hai tu pyar se usko samjha le'.. aal izz welll :)
Enjoy..!!
PS: This is not at all criticism, but I have just put my thinking in words. 'Keep smiling':)
'The one who wants to do will do'. Doesn't matter if he/she would have to carry plethora of obligations with him/her during the pursuit of his/her Goals.
ReplyDeleteBhole! Most important is knowing your own self. Many of us in this contemporary world just couldn't find our instincts and thus capitulate to our obligations only and cherish compromises. :)
