High-tech era of computers is replacing almost every mote of this world. Agreed. But yet there are lot many things that are same no matter if they are computerized. One such...err...not such but especial thing is the POWER OF WORDS. Earlier Pen was considered to be the main source to substantiate or to jot-down the words. Perhaps for this reason someone wrote, 'Pen is mightier than sword'. Because during those days there was unavailability of Computers. Now in modern era we can rephrase it as 'Keyboard is mightier than sword'.
No matter it be a pen or a computer but the power of the words that it jots down is same for that of inked on paper or of printed on paper or of those just mustered in a binary electronic file. The vigor and strength of the words is same in all form.
Let's scrutinize why the Pen( the medium to substantiate word) is mightier than sword. Perhaps because a sword is a single arm in itself as compared to pen which is a warrior in its own ways with a gigantic battery of arms. The arms for the pen are 'WORDS'. If we talk about the strength of this warrior, it is empowered with the smartest and strongest driving force of the world i.e. Human Brain. Yes! I don't think there is any need of support for this reason. For all who disagree; here is the explanation: If pen was driven by hands, a physically challenged person wouldn't be able to create the miracles of writing even with the foot or in some cases with their mouth (in case someone is bereft of limbs too). Facts and figures in the history approbate that whatever we write, we write with brain and not with hand. And in brain we have nothing but words to speak or write out to let others know what we are up to. Hand is just a part of the whole system of writing down your thoughts. It's just a crank shaft in the engine. The fuel is consumed in cylinder, it runs the vehicle, the crank shaft is just the medium to help driving the vehicle. This is the reason Norman Lewis has entitled his book with the WORD POWER to MADE your life EASY.
Also, The principal power behind pen being mightier is the human brain. A sword can only sunder or perhaps in some cases can be used to petrify others. But look at the power of words in collation to the use of sword. A pen not only can allow someone to cut, impale in but a venial order written by the judge can also exonerate an accused from being decapitated. In this way a pen can act as both a belligerent killer or a life-saver as well. But it's actually not the pen but the words written by it that makes it worth of being clipped in the pockets of literati.
Words are amazing as these can express even the subtle expressions of everyone. May be you haven't realized your own self but there could be some 'fetish' in you. You have never seen in you but there is always a 'soul' in you. Had the words not been there you would not have even 'felt' what ecstasy is. These are the words only using which some one 'boasts' when s(he) is 'boosted' with some qualities. It is the word that let us know there is 'Air' all around. These are only words which let you peep into the Entropy of my Cerebrum.
There is no Science, History, Philosophy in this world and nothing is cakewalk in this world but only Word Power has made it Easy.
