Life- The ticks of a Clock!

Clock is the most wonderful invention of science. You may have a notion why I am saying this. Perhaps some of you may disagree with this for it does nothing special but ticks being hung on a wall or the smaller one- watch as we call it being tied to someone’s wrist, in pocket or at the top of a tower in a city.
Thanks to its inventor for this great discovery. At the time of invention of clock, he wouldn’t have thought about the analogy being created flanked with his this experiment. He was merely trying to device a machine that would relate the day and night so that every one of us could have an idea about the moments of the day passed or left. However, after its invention as it happens with every other new invention controversies started emanating and people started gauging the pros and cons of clock.
Talking about the life of a clock, you buy a new one, install a battery or wind the spring in the automatic one. The moment you switch it on, it starts ticking. The three hands in it start moving at their own speeds. However, somewhat related to each other. What it relates to is an important entity, incorporeal yet the most tangible, TIME.
Let’s unveil the mystery which I am taking about the analogy of the clock. Being one of the great inventions is not only that it keeps us notified and apprise about the moments in space but also because it depicts the world pertaining to every individual. Yes! Your, your friends, friend of your friend, my...everyone’s world is confined in this wonderful clock.Inadvertently, the circular shape of the clock is more or less similar to the shape of the earth. But its functions and movements are closely related to the inhabitants of the latter. As soon as an individual takes birth its heart closely interrelated with other body parts starts functioning. Isn’t it the case with clock also? The second-hand in the clock moves same as a heart beats. Even our heartbeat is counted in relation to the seconds or minutes of the clock. Now if we closely relate the world in the clock, the second-hand is nothing but the people around an individual in this world. They are continuously moving with their own pace. Now another cardinal point! I don’t have much idea why the second-hand in the clock is the thinner among all three but yes for an individual, horde of other people in the world are but as thin as second-hand to closely notice the movement of each person of this world. We hardly care about how they are moving as we have our own chores and tasks to be done. We need to complete our own circle round the clock in 12 hours. Even others don’t care about your movement. One thing clear from the movement of the second hand is that it always moves faster and will over take you so many times till you reach your destination. Even for irrepressible causes if you stop in your way for some time, you get dysfunctional in your way or something else impedes you, the other hands may not necessarily stop for you.
There is another part inside the dial of a clock- The Minute Hand. It is the group of people who are somewhat closer to you. They are relatively slower than the other people of the world. They do overtake you but lesser than those composed in the second-hand of your world. They are more closely related to you. After all by the time a second-hand overtakes you 60 times, they will do only once. Or in other way, 60 rotations of them would also move you one step further in your journey. They have some sympathy, empathy and compassion for you. They have some effect on you and vice-versa.
Now I hope it is more or less clear about the analogy that how this visibly small but enormous clock relates to your world in every way. What not pertaining to yourself you can find being depicted by the clock? You have your goals in life, so are the 12 numerals in the dial of a clock. Sometimes you feel sad, dejected, or the things in your life halts, they are depicted by the technical defect in the clock. Some of your problems are solvable, it happens with the clock too. You are happy at some moment, it is only important to you. Others perhaps meet you and celebrate and felicitate you. Your entanglements, dejections, disappointments, everything can be found happening in the clock too. If sometimes you feel sad, the world would hardly stops for you. Even if you see that your clocks stopped working, remember that there are hordes of other clocks which will keep on moving on their pace.
So going in the same way a clock works, if at some unfortunate time you feel sad or demoralized, don’t stop for much time and wait for someone else to console you as they will but stop for very less time( may be just for overtaking you). No matter even if you are hour-hand ( the slowest one), diminutive in the world, you need to keep moving with your own pace achieving your own goals because in this vast world the time is noted only related to the hour hand and then the minute hand. Most of the times everyone of us ignores the seconds while noting the time of a clock. Also, minute hand and second hand cannot depict time alone. Every moment of time in the clock is noted related to the hour hand. It is the cardinal part of the clock. So are you in your world. Hence my dear friends, keep on moving in your life your own way hitting your targets after every hour and remember that even if you stop for some time in this world your own, the time would be 7 hours and 20 minutes and not 20 minutes and some seconds!

The Happy Ride

Consider yourself in your childhood. On one fine day, you are strolling and playing in a park as your daily habit. You stop there and stunned watching your friend on a bicycle. You gaze at him and then he offers you to ride. Timidly you get on and as per commands from your friend you slowly, timidly start paddling. Full of fear, being your first riding experience, you ride less and more cautiously keep your eyes on your friend accompanying you. The moment you think about falling down, your mind gets less diverted towards riding the cycle and more towards leaving it. All your fun has been gone due to fear.
When you leave riding, you think that you have done something miraculous and different which you never did before. You rode a machine which moves only with balance, without any support.
The very next day you again yearn to take a ride, the next day, the next day and again.....till you get some wounds, rashes and bruises learning self developed skill to ride the cycle in your own way, skills stunting on roads various ways. This is the way you get educated till your adolescence.
Few more days and you forget to be cautious and you ride it as easy as you walk. Now you have got perfection in riding a bike. This is the stage when you are eligible to be known as professional. Right? Perhaps because you are well known for riding a bike. You are adroit in it. And more or less you ride it at least once in a day. But can you think about your professionalism? Just retrospect once and remember all the changes you have got during your learning. Since now you have become professional, you have changed the style you commute from one place to another. You feel walking tedious now. A new word also appended with you: 'Pragmatic'. Pragmatism is something that keeps you paddling the bike when you are in a large mud filled puddle even when you see someone slipped in it and caught up in the mud. Your pragmatism goads you to continue your ride until you cross the puddle no matter if someone else is in trouble in front of you. You keep on riding since you know if you stop there to help, you too would be caught up there. This time you your professionalism bridle you and you keep on moving on your way.
Once I was entangled in a same situation and then one of my friend called me up and when he got to know about my problem he insisted me to be 'Professional, Practical and Social'. I was just perplexed hearing all these words together.
Thinking of bicycle and the puddle situation, can you be professional and social as well? Certainly not. This is a situation as kindling a candle with a match stick. As you have to sacrifice one stick in order to light the candle in order to get yourself enlightened and to end up darkness of your life. Now it is upon you whether you light a candle or waste a match stick. I feel that this is the time when you need to use your reasons and pragmatism to be 'Practical' in order to get out of the puddle of your problems, dragging out the failures inside you converting all your mourn in to eternal happiness. And yes, once you are out, you can also pull out someone else out of the puddle.
So, next time if you find any situation as being yourself caught up in puddle. Don't get baffled in between, use your reasons coupled with 'riding' skills learnt so far and think about what matters more to you. Is it Professionalism or Socialization? Choose the path which you think will provide you the eternal happiness and remember on thing that you can kindle a candle by burning a match stick but you hardly see anyone burning a candle to kindle a match stick.

Happy Riding..

SUNDAY!....Yes, Sun-Day is what today. As you may get it as the day when most of the offices are closed, the school going kids stay home enjoying the day their own ways. Some families would already have their plans for outings, kith visits and so on. But it is no more a different day for me. After all, what is different in this day? The sun rises( in the east as we leant from school) disappearing the darkness. This is what I see every morning lying on the bed from my window. Same spectrum, sparrows, joggers...It has nothing discreminant than rest of the days. Sometimes I feel in the dawn that all whatever is going to happen is an illusion, it's all fake as everything I see in dreams also. This twilight, this horizon is nothing but all a drama in my dream. Then the bile in my belly gets churns as if someone has set blaze waking me up agitated as a fisherman in a storm with his only torned jib boat. He knows the city is not too far to reach but if he jumps out to reach there floating, he would lose all the fish he has collected and if he stays in waiting for the serenity, he would lose a day and it would almost be impossible to sail during night.
Hence, accepting all those systems as true, the nimbleness to get water for quenching the blaze awakes me. I know that I can calm it each day but whether would there be any day when this agitation ends up, leaving behind no more disturbance in the abdomen? I think if I can make this ephemeral serenity, there would surely be one day when I would not have any free fuel left to get ablaze and everything would be converted into diamonds. Who knows even if I don't get those diamonds, there would be some gold under that heap of coal quite enough for me to sell and get the tranquiliser for my ever burning desires!
When you feel you are in the middle of nowhere..That is the sign that destiny is nigh. So never give up and walk some more..That is only the way ahead, lies there the horizon, waiting for you.!

Demonstrating Jalandhar by Demons

HONK, HONK…..HONK…..!!
“Dunno what haapened…, though lights are working well but still traffic jam!!”“I see some more cops than usual there at the pavement…”

Once standing at one of the crossing in my city, I heard these conversations and soon:
“Jalandhar’s voice against terrorism…
Attwaad de khilaaf saare jaane awaaz uthao...
Jalandhar ki awaaz, Aatankwaad ke khilaf…!”

Well these were the slogan being chanted on one of the rally accompanied by some city’s renowned leader and some well known businessmen. What I saw was about 200-300 student wielding some banners depicted: “Aatankwaad hatao, Bharat khushaal banao”. I don’t think there is any need to mention the subject for the rally. It’s blatant from the shibboleths: To fight against terrorism and condole the victims of 26/11, Mumbai. After dilatation of about 1 hour in my schedule I finally get back to my place. The rally startled me and I was somewhat glad that people in my city are aware about the country’s peace. Probably because this was the first ever such rally I saw in the city.

Five months later, the news ‘Curfew in Jalandhar over attack of religious leader in Vienna’. This news stunned me like those of 9/11 and 26/11. Media was informing about the situation of the city. Two trains were burned, one ATM was set fire, Roads were jammed by PROTESTORS, Cars parked in front of the restaurants and hotels were conflagrated. Such was the loss as a result of the riots. Nobody was there to stop the riots and the mob was simply doing whatever they wanted.

Now if we look at the Mumbai attack and the Jalandhar Protest, can we differentiate these two? Perhaps on the basis of nationality of assaulters, number of assaulters and may be the arms used. The terror arose in Jalandhar was no less than that in Mumbai. At both places, people feared coming out of the houses, faced inconvenience in traveling, complete city was closed. But even though we blame that terrorists are snatching our peace and harmony. Another question in my mind, ‘Was this the reason, the rally five months ago was marched for? Is this all people were cognized for by various political leaders throughout the country?’ Hats off to the so called Protestors! One person is attacked overseas, and the followers start protesting in other country and that too not in front of mere peasants at 18 o’clock. I ask, ‘Which government would hear you at that time of the day?” And what such PROTESTORS want to show? Perhaps not more than the only adage they know, “Union is Strength”. But only few in this world know that using your strength on impeccable peasants only shows your cowardliness that even though you are myriads of people but still couldn’t convince anyone keeping yourself serene. Burning trains and ATMs and creating mobs over roads is not the way to protest against something. And yes, ravaging car showrooms and pillaging vehicles for your personal use is not what someone call a protest. Inculcating a child of mere 9-10 years to participate in the mob and embroiling your older ones in the house to sit at the center of roads is not the answer to the question.

On one side, we Indians want peace, we mourn about the loss in the wars may it be of 1961, 1965, 1971 or Kargil. And on the other, few of such Indian PROTESTORS ‘fight for peace’. I agree that they sternly believe in unity but someone please let them know also that Charity begins at home. Assailing our own faultless countrymen only persuade other attackers, make them more confident and us more vulnerable. I don’t think billows of fumes out of the burning trains had smothered the attackers in Vienna, nor did the barricades used to impede mob in Jalandhar hindered them in fled away. Did they? Why such agitation here then? If the militants in Mumbai were shot at to death and seized, won’t the Vienna attackers be?

The need of the hour is not rallying on the roads against the terrorism but it demands mutual understanding among each other within the country, stern reasoning and awareness about your and more importantly about others’. Being free doesn’t mean to do whatever, whenever you want but doing something that not only is according to your will, gives you pleasure but also doesn’t exasperate or vex others. Let’s we all take care or each other and the country would take care of everything pertaining to us be it our religion, religious leaders or Victoria Terminal.

Live and Let others live to keep all of all of us unite .

Slumdog Millionaire: What's in the Slum+Dog?

I was just stumbling various sites and just tripped to a forum. The discussion there just stunned me. The discussion was going around the famous Academy winner 'Slumdog Millionaire'. We all know that there are so many controversies arose behind the name of the movie as "Slumdog Millionaire". Even the heat reached upto Danny Boyle also. One of the question raised about the movie is that the movie should have been names as 'Slumkid Millionaire'. Reason: 'Slumdog Millionaire' is sarcastic pricking all the slum people. But I don't see any personal slander in the name of the movie. Moreover it would hardly have removed a bukcet from the ocean had the movie named as "Slumkid Millionaire".
As per Boyle, the 'Slumdog' was named after the word 'Underdog' and we all well know the meaning as "Unsuccessfull". Since the protagonist hails from the Slums of Mumbai so the suffix 'under' was changed to 'Slum' and hence 'Slumdog'. It has nothing to do with canines and consider it calling would be utter absurd.
Moreover, don't we have movies from bollywood and that too of our famous Stars depicting the Indian slums? Bollywood hardly face any controversy over a movie shooted in the slums. The hero's childhood of maximum movies of late 70s or early 80s depicts his pauperism and then his heydays. The same has been shown in the 'Slumdog Millionaire' with the only difference in the directing team. So, no matters it's a 'Slumdog Millionaire' depicting Mumbai Slums or 'Muqaddar ka Sikandar' depicting impoverishment . The harsh reality would be there. The fault is not with the names but with our mind sets which assimilate the essence the other way around.
Also, the ideas that have brought the movie aloft all out of the contemporary film stack is just amazing. Many people critisize the movie name 'Slumdog..'.I agree that people just add words 'Slum + dog' but this opinion wouldn't have raised the popularity for the film. We all well know that for everything in this world different people have different views. But it is the tipping point of the opinions which adds success. If we go through the main idea of the film, it's not about one being born in Slums, working as a tea boy and being a millionaire. But, it's is all about the destiny and the foremost that how we grasp knowledge from various happening and occurences taking place diurnally around us in our ambience. It was 'Jamal Khan' who noticed 'Sameul Colt' from the dialogues of his brother and not the Police Inspector who had used a revolver for his long stint.
So, again, people should learn from the movie that being a Slumdog( Jamal Khan) is not as bad as being a billionaire( role acted by Anil Kapoor or the producer of the show) to conduct a game show without knowing that the questions they are going to ask in their game are as familiar to the contestant as 'Taj Mahal' to an Indian. All those who take the name of the movie as defaming, try to look at the things, the way they are made to be and not the way you see them.

Sojourn at DAVIET

Though i am meek,my freinds are on peak.

Some are dumb, some are Geek.

All those cronies,from various Colonies.

I'll never find their clones,

But Life will goes on, Life will goes on....

Thinking of that Metro, from Janakpuri to CP

That moving ESCALATOR and v the culprits,

'Let's stop it' was our craze

The scurried passengers were full of rage

Those comical Apologies n acting of a sage

Now heart is weeping,Eyes are drown

But Life will go on, Life will go on....

Those hangouts to 'MAME DA DHABA'

Those 'Romanov' shots with Yellow DAAL

Khanna's Lemon and Chache de naan

Deena Nath's Kulche, 'RAUH's Gilaas'

All these memorials i always adorn,

And Life will go on, Life will go on....

The jaunts to Model town.

Those inspirations fromm accomplice...

Looking a girl wherever 'Oye karde propose' either NOW OR NEVER

All those moments will retain forever

Sometimes all these moments cause mourn.

But Life will go on, Life will go on....

Now we all suffer Segregation,

Some are in or out of the nation,

Everytime we think for Reunification

Your Remembrance from heart havn't gone..

But Life will goes on, Life will goes on....

It still feels like, we all are together.

The tussle since April 5,1985

To be a being in this world is the best ever opportunity a soul gets in order to purge itself. As soon as someone gets incarnated, the soul starts wandering under the firmament of nature. Very few out of all those nomadic souls get the real peace even after slogging throughout life. In other words, only few gets enlightened in this world.
Well, the embodiment of this soul happened in 1985. Passing about 15-20 years notoriously, savoring each and every tick of life no matter whether it was an ecstatic jaunt to somewhere or a strive to get some degree in academics.
Since my childhood, I lived like a soccer ball rolled on the ground wherever whoever kicked. But inside this ball there is a principal part what you call bladder and so is a cerebrum just like everybody in this world has. And this cerebrum as being capable of thinking some hundred thoughts per minute, sometimes clogs you in a quagmire, makes you ponder about your own self and being. Those who feel this musing as a predicament and left aside this juncture of life, live life as the same ball: Getting kicks, rolling on the ground and one day when it gets withered. After some time is simply abandoned. But, those who carry on contemplation get their way towards the real GOAL of life viz. Happiness or that we call him/ her 'Enlightened'. This enlightenment is nothing but in true sense, is the wisdom or someone's capability of assimilating and imbibing the real essence of life which is 'Happiness'. As I mentioned above, each and every person who is born in this world gets at least one chance in his life to get this Happiness. Some of these get more than one and we call those as the LUCKY ones. I am one of those lucky ones.
I got my first chance during inception of my adolescence. But since that was my teen age and I was one among those who don't get mature enough to grasp the opportunities that come to their way. Thence I missed that chance. Taking life negligently I continued my gait on the ways those come as such.
Though I committed several mistakes till now, but out of all those the two of them are like what we call Blunders. The first one when I enticed a sober, decent lass. To be enamored with someone made me think aloft all in this world and only when the situation got intricate, I relinquish alluring someone. But, this was not enough for a philanderer and thus allurement continued. I thought that of not being peeped by anyone but forgot that how you sow, so shall you reap. Thus the very next disintegration inculcated me the adage and left me culpable of ruining someones life incurring loss of a great friend too.
Past suffering comatose trauma, trampling and toddling, I now got another chance of being one of the happiest person of the world. And now, flanking all my vigour, learning and past experiences I again started my duel with life in order to get 'The Wisdom', 'The Enlightenment' and 'The Happiness'. Till now what this expedition has given me are KAI-ZEN and enthusiasm to carry on my 'Pursuit of Happinees' till the real purpose of my life is solved.
Let's see how long it takes me to reach at my destiny to savor the aroma of that eternal felicity.
